Viewing your expired data licenses

Login to FIND, click on 'My account' tab at the top of the page, and then click 'Expired licenses' in the menu on the left. Alternatively, click the 'View my expired licenses' hyperlink in the email reminding you of any expired licenses, which is sent monthly to any users with expired licenses.

Within this page, you can view licence status by applying various date filters using the 'basic' filter options, such as the month and year, or simply click 'Show all expired licenses to date'. If you are a general or intermediate user, you can view all of your personal expired licenses. If you are a company administrator, you can view all company expired licenses.

All users can also choose 'Advanced filtering options' to apply more details filters to your expired licence search. These options include applying a date range, project reference, sub-reference, FIND order number, or perform a spatial search using the 'Grid reference' and 'Buffer' options. Company administrators can also search on individual users. Click 'Search' to view expired licenses.

All corresponding expired licenses will feature in a list of rows, containing details about the original data order, such as the date it was ordered and then expired, the user, price, and the status of the licence, such as if it is expired, or whether it has been renewed or archived.

Renewing a data licence

If you wish to renew a data licence, simply click on 'Data needed - renew licence' button below the licence status. A popup window will appear summarising your renewal:

Once you click 'Renew licence', the total cost will be added to your monthly invoice, and you will be able to re-download that data from the 'Orders' page on FIND. You are now licensed to use that data for the original licence period (usually 12 months) effective from the date of expiry.

This licence has now been 'resolved', as in, it is no longer oustanding as 'expired'. It shall now no longer be returned in search results, unless you tick the 'Include resolved licenses' checkbox in the search options, whereby the licence status will now appear with green text indicating that it has been renewed:

Declaring data as archived or deleted

If you no longer require the data that the licence applies to, simply click 'Data not needed - will delete/archive'. This is a declaration that you no longer need the data and do not wish to renew the licence, and the licence will now be resolved. The licence status will now appear with grey text indicating that it has been either deleted or archived; it is up to you to actually delete or archive the data itself within your company.
